Purpose of the Job:

About the Department:

Claims (Quality Control & Health Claims) department is responsible to conduct entire processing of the claims pertaining to health. It includes conducting various assessments and performing quality checks on the processed data as per the regulatory norms in order to ensure efficiency of the departmental process.

Purpose of the Role:

As a Senior Manager, the role involves, collating entire data and present the data to management. It includes managing dashboards and initiating various strategies to improve the existing process in order to enhance the functioning of the department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team and ensuring process completion as per pre-defined TAT and Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs).
  • Managing communications with internal and external stakeholders as per the pre defined guidelines.
  • Setting up new processes and strategies to improve efficiency of departmental activities.
  • Managing cross functional departmental activities.
  • Maintaining and managing client data to ensure process completion.
  • Ensuring the productivity of the team and vendors as per Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Conducting quality checks and audit process to ensure regulatory norms are met.
  • Managing escalation and providing timely resolution.
  • Identifying the gaps and implementing changes for overall process improvement.
  • Monitoring MIS activities to ensure smooth flow of the departmental process
  • Creating and Managing Dashboards.
  • Taking a proactive approach in training subordinates.
  • Creating summary reports regarding verification of claims.
  • Encouraging the team for the Eureka project.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
:

  • Academic Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate .
  • Work Experience: 5 years’ experience in Insurance Industry. Awareness of Life-Asia System.
  • Required Skills: Leadership skills. Strong analytical abilities. Interpersonal skills.
  • Stakeholder management. MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and etc.) Presentation skills.
