About the Department


New Business as a department is responsible for initial screening, initial underwriting, KYC and AML checks to ensure minimization of risk and inclusion of right quality of customers by doing 100% screening, which will eventually work towards the financial goal of the organization.


Purpose of the Job


  • Effective Channel Management .
  • Completion/Closure of projects which are assigned and need to be completed within defined timelines.
  • Smooth on boarding of new partner/process/vendor- Cross Functional Projects (System Level/Process Level)


Duties& Responsibilities


  • Measuring and Analysis on Key Metrics ( KPI's).
  • Proactive risk identification and fraud identification.
  • Involvement in Cross Functional Projects (System Level/Process Level).
  • Adherence to TAT/timeliness & scores for additional activities that are handled additionally, ownership for quality for all owned processes.
  • Manage and prepare team for DM's for next leadership role.
  • Month on Month feedback from sales/branch along with ESAT score of reporting team.
  • Interacting with multiple departments within HDFC Life to get the customers/sales query or complaint resolution.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Academic Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate
  • Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in operations from the Insurance Industry.
  • Good networking and relationship skills.
  • Good knowledge of Life Asia system, Wonders, TEBT Life Line etc.
  • Product and process knowledge along with good awareness about internal systems.
